Javier joined Griffins as a Senior Investigator, based in the Midlands. He joined from the Insolvency Service, where his casework included the investigation behind the disqualification of Neville Taylor, the most prominent enabler of the Atherton scheme, which used over 400 companies to help distressed directors sidestep formal insolvency and avoid creditor scrutiny.

At Griffins, Javier's work spans asset tracing, bankruptcy, and company investigations, with a particular strength in bank analysis. His casework includes complex, multi-company frauds, tracing the use and movement of funds through interconnected corporate structures.
Since joining, he has also built experience in cryptocurrency fraud investigations and tracing digital assets on behalf of creditors.
