James spent some 15 years working his way up from Junior Administrator to Senior Case Manager in the Rescue, Recovery and Restructuring industry working for boutique specialist insolvency firms before incorporating his own high-end asset solution business, including the sale and purchase of assets such as blue-chip collectible cars, art, and international property.
During his time away from general professional practice James has maintained his involvement with the insolvency industry and has regularly advised both distressed businesses and Lenders on a commercial basis, many of the matters related to SME property development and investment and James’ approach is that of consensus, not conflict, whenever possible.
James has a wealth of professional and practical experience including advising and restructuring a Formula 1 team which has ultimately survived and is competing in the season’s championship. James has also been involved in the sports business for a number of years and is regularly approached to advise on numerous sporting business matters.
Outside of the workplace James is often found with his young family or supporting his football team however his real passion lies in wilderness conservation in Africa where he trained as a safari guide which has served him surprisingly well in commercial world.
